Which stage is the right one for my baby?

Which stage is the right one for my baby?

You may be wondering what the different stages of baby milk are all about!

It's actually quite simple! As your baby grows, so do their nutritional needs. Your baby may be hungrier and wants to be fed more often. Below, we explain what you need to consider with the different stages!

There are basically two different formulas:

  1. The starting formula. This can be further divided into stage 1 and stage PRE!
Stage PRE is special in the sense that it only contains one form of carbohydrates.
  1. Follow-on formula. This is an optional step as starting formula can be given until weaning. It can be used from the 7th month on! It has multiple carbohydrate sources and is often times a bit more thick – this is done so it is more satiating for your baby in hopes that your little one may sleep longer before the next bottle is due. Follow-on formula are available as stage 2, 3 and 4!
For children who eat very unbalanced or are picky eaters, supplementation with a follow-on milk stage 4 may also be suitable after the first year of life. It can provide the child with vitamins and minerals. To wean the child from the bottle, the formula should be offered in a cup.

That is the bottom line on the different stages. See, it is very simple!
