This formula prevents reflux into the esophagus. HiPP AR Special Nutrition contains high quality locust bean flour - this natural swelling substance makes the food particularly creamy and ensures that it stays better in the stomach. This reduces the reflux into the esophagus (anti-reflux)!

HiPP AR Special Nutrition is suitable for dietary treatment in case of increased spitting and burping in infancy and can, under medical control, be used from birth on to exclusively feed your baby as well as after the 6th month in a mixed diet.

For allergy-prone babies HiPP AR Special Nutrition is not suitable. Please ask your pediatrician. Do not use HiPP AR Special Nutrition with existing cow's milk protein allergy or suspicion of such.

How to use and prepare HiPP Anti-Reflux Special Nutrition:

Quick and easy preparation. Just shake the milk powder with boiled water!  

 Step 1:

For efficient cleaning, you have to boil the bottle, the ring and the nipple before use 3-5 minutes.

Step 2:

Boil the water and cool it down to about 40 - 50 °C (104 - 122 °F)*. Fill half of the water into the vial (for portioning see table  below).

Step 3:

Measure amount of powder according to the table and pour it into the vial. Fill the measuring spoon loose and straighten it with the back of a knife.

Step 4:

Shake the mixture of the powder and half the amount of water vigorously. Add remaining water and shake well again. Swell Hipp AR Special Nutrition after preparation for 7 minutes! Cool down to drinking temperature (37 °C) or (98,6 °F)

*In order not to damage the natural lactic acid cultures (lactobacilli), please do not prepare the food with water that is too hot.

When preparing baby milk foods, pay close attention to the instructions for use. Improper preparation or storage of the prepared vial over an extended period of time may result in adverse health effects, e.g. by the growth of unwanted germs. Prepare food freshly before each meal and feed it immediately. Do not reuse food leftovers. Thoroughly clean the bottle, nipple and ring. Close the opened bag well after product removal, store in a dry place at room temperature and use within 3 weeks.

*1 straight measuring spoon = 4,4g. 1 spoon equals 1 fl. oz.
